Welcome to Aberdeen

The city of Aberdeen can trace its history back to its foundation as a Royal Burgh in 1124 and has a history linked with the maritime industry, both as a trading port and a shipbuilder.

Also known as the Granite City (due to the distictive use of silver granite in the building of the city centre), Aberdeen has a wide variety of activities available to visitors from walks along the river Dee, enjoying the nightlife provided by a wide selection of night clubs and public houses or visiting some of the city's famed cultural institutions (such as His Majesty's Theatre).

The city's prominent location on the A90 route provides for easy travelling to attractions located in the Grampian and Aberdeenshire area, so no matter what you're looking for you'll be able to find it with us.
